Voetbalwereld in rouw om overlijden Atsu, Hatayspor deelt opnieuw tragisch nieuws
Hatayspor is in diepe rouw. De Turkse voetbalclub bevestigt het overlijden van Christian Atsu, die de aardbevingen in Turkije niet heeft overleefd. Behalve de Ghanees is Hatayspor ook materiaalman Onur Akdeniz door de ramp verloren.
Atsu mocht slechts 31 jaar worden. Hatayspor heeft zijn social media-kanalen op zwart gezet en laat weten dat het lichaam van Atsu naar Ghana wordt gebracht. In zijn vaderland wordt de voormalig voetballer begraven. De zestigvoudig international van Ghana diende gedurende zijn loopbaan tien clubs, waaronder FC Porto, Chelsea, Vitesse, Newcastle United en het laatste halfjaar Hatayspor.
